Pro Truck Challenge National Championship Series.

Presented by Monster Truck Collectors.com

Pro Truck Challenge Open.

May 26, 2007 Memorial Day weekend, a time for Americans to remember the sacrifice made by the fine men and women serving their country. The weekend is home of two big events, the Indianapolis 500 and the Coke 600. But in Fairbanks, Alaska a special event was held that night. The small town located 200 miles south of the Arctic Circle is a hockey town and the Carlson Center sells out all 4,500 seats for Univeristy of Alaska Nanooks NCAA hockey. But on May 26, the sellout crowd in the Carlson Center didn't see a hockey game, but a monster truck event.

This was no ordinary promoter that brought some monster trucks up to do a show, but a new group known as Pro Truck Challenge. The idea to hold a championship season where racing is the main focus, to be the major league of monster truck racing and where the best of the best will come to race.

Since then Pro Truck Challenge has grown and every season everybody in the monster truck industry follows the Pro Truck Challenge National Championship Series to see who takes the Chandler Cup! Ladies and gentleman welcome to the fifth season of Pro Truck Challenge National Championship Series presented by Monster Truck Collectors.com and welcome to the PTC Open!

Kansas Motor Speedway. Kansas City, Kansas.

Welcome ladies and gentleman to the fourth running of the Pro Truck Challenge Open. The sun is up and shining but by the end of the day under the light we will have a winner and a point leader for season five of the Pro Truck Challenge National Championship Series presented by Monster Truck Collectors.com.

This morning fans that had stayed the night here tailgated this morning with bbq, drinking, and good ol tailgating fun making new friends and discussing bout the race tonight. RV's are decorated with the team they support and lots of fans are also brand loyal so lot of Chevy, Dodge, and Ford flags flying around. Also this morning traffic issues as fans coming to Kansas Speedway all tried to get here the traffic slowed to a near crawl pace just like at any major sporting event and once here the truck show outside Kansas Speedway is fun for everyone and then noon the gates to Kansas Motor Speedway opened and when fans walked in they were able to walk up to the track, see the monster trucks up close as pit crews put the final touches on each one and round 3:00pm all 48 trucks lined up on pit road facing turn four. Once we get the event going all 48 trucks will do a salute to the fans drive by down the front stretch here and once that happens season five will be underway. So we are about an hour away now from the start of the PTC and now let's take a look at some of the stories people will be following tonight.

The number one story no doubt is Michael Elmendorf and Jordon Robson, last season they put on a clinic on dominating the PTC. Jordon broke the record for most wins in a season and was always a threat to win each and every event. Michael started the season in the top five and after weekend three took the points lead and never let go. Now the two of them are driving for a new owner Shawn Hunsicker of Pman. Jordon Robson is behind the wheel of Pman-7 the oldest truck in the field. The big question is can they do what they did last season or has the other 46 teams caught up?

With the departure of Insanity and Blue Thunder from Misfit Motorsports the question is who is the number one in the team? Patrick Carroll won twice last season and the Jeff Dane Award. People are speculating that he will be the one that steps up but remember Misfit has Grossman. The Grossman team returns after a great season but no wins. There top 10 finish in points got people talking and you know Matt Grossman one of four drivers to be in PTC since the first event is looking for a win.

Four drivers have been in PTC since the first race back in Fairbanks, Alaska. All of them have wins and two of them have carried the same truck name. Ed Kowalski and Shawn Hunsicker have kept the same name of their trucks since that first race. Now in newer equipment both of them want this to be a championship season and while the two are friends off the track on the track they have a rivalry like no other. Ryan Roberts has been with PTC since race #1 and he is tied with Jordon Robson for most wins all time in Pro Truck Challenge. Now his third season behind Off The Wall he too wants to earn wins and speaking about earning wins Matt Grossman. Matt hasn't won since season two but has been consistent with a top 10 finish in the points he is looking for a win. The question is will he get a win because we got a great group of 48 which includes a few rookies.

This season there are five rookies and last season Kyle Fisher was the super rookie with wins, consistency, and that earned him the Rod Litzau Award. This season the rookies look to be the next super rookie and remember a rookie has won the PTC Open two times.

CRB Motorsports owned by Chris Biluk returns with two trucks this season and they hope to be talked about just like Misfits, Pman, and Bite Me Racing. Could this be the present of another multi truck team to come?

Out of the 48 drivers, 27 have PTC wins. What makes PTC so special is PTC only events are during the championship season. There are no events before or after the season. So each and every PTC event you can expect every team doing all they can to earn the win. Tonight one of these 48 drivers will lay claim to win the Pro Truck Challenge Open that kicked off season five of the Pro Truck Challenge National Championship Series presented by Monster Truck Collectors.com and we are now minutes away from the start of the PTC OPEN!

Now the fans are in their seats waiting for the command to start engines. This sold out crowd is going to enjoy a great race today the track layout for this event is a new "Z" type track. The first leg is a drag with a jump over a bus. The trucks will be getting lots of air and after they land they come towards the turn. The middle leg has a massive hill in the center then a turn to the final leg over the cars to the finish line.

The drivers are now entering their vehicles they sit and wait for the words the fans been waiting for. Now the fireworks behind the garage area are going off, the fans are standing and cheering as they go off the massive PTC Vision screen behind pit area now show the opening video of the Pro Truck Challenge Open the fans cheer and now silent down to listen to the intro video. The video is a music video with the AC/DC song "For those about to rock" and the video consist of footage of past PTC events. From the first event from Fairbanks Alaska, the first All Star Race, Skatewagon roll over, and everything in between leading up to tonight and now as the video comes near to the end fans are standing and cheering again the fireworks are going off again but there is more than before and the over the pa system the words that everyone been waiting "Monster truck fans, welcome to the PTC OPEN!"

The fireworks are going off and now they last few go off, the fans are cheering they know the command to start engines is coming soon. Let's go trackside and listen to the pre-race ceremony.

Race fans, are you ready? Welcome to Pro Truck Challenge Open the kick off of the fifth season of Pro Truck Challenge National Championship Series presented by Monster Truck Collectors.com from Kasas City!

Before we give the command we want to recognize what made PTC what it is today. You the fans made PTC what it is and we thank you for your support and we have a special part for everyone here. You the fans will give the ceremonial command to the drivers to start your engines. So once i get to three as loud as you can say drivers start your engines. On 3, 1...2...3

DRIVERS START YOUR ENGINE!

All 48 trucks fire up and the sound of 48 monster trucks starting up is an experience these fans love and now the trucks all lined up two in a row exit pit road near turn four and turn around on to the race track of Kansas Motor Speedway and the fans salute them. Some drivers are smiling waving at the fans, some are focus look ahead, some look relaxed, some look tense, but all have one goal to win. Now as the come towards pit road exit near turn one the first group of 16 will go down pit road. The rest head to the garage area, we are ready to get PTC Open underway!

Round 1. PTC Open.

Well here we are the fans are standing as the first two trucks come to the staging area. Before the green just an update on rule changes in the racing that will take place starting tonight and last all season. Each truck now has only one minute to get lined up once in the staging area where in the past seasons there was no time limit at all. Last season PTC used computer scoring to aid calling close finishes. Last season the computer was used but in a close race PTC Officials took look at the tape to confirm. Well now it is only computer and driver can ask the pit boss to see the replay. After a 100% sucess rate PTC feels like it is a fail proof system. For more information on the announcements go to Pro Truck News. Now the overall pole sitter for the fourth PTC Open is Russ Ivy driver and owner of Liberty One. This is the first time he has won the pole for the PTC Open and overall pole and some people have picked to win overall tonight. In fact the overall pole winner has gone on to win the PTC Open every season except last season when Son of Sam went out in the first round of the PTC Open to grave digger.

Russ in Liberty One will face Gene Boyce back in Old Timer and you know Old Timer wants to pull the upset and Russ is looking at avoiding an upset. The two trucks are lined up at the starting line the fans come to their feet this is it the start of a new season, the fifth season of Pro Truck Challenge begins....now!

There off side by side no advantage for either truck they approach the bus jump both of them not letting off clear the bus and smooth landing for both now they drag down towards the turn and they are reaching fast speeds and now both slam on the brakes and Gene rolls over! Liberty One has come to a stop, PTC Officials running towards Gene as he climbs out of the truck and Russ meets Gene check to see if he is ok, what a start to season five last time a roll over in the first match up in PTC Open was season II. Gene in the inside lane which is the lane further from pit road came in to the first turn just to fast or didn't expect the dirt to be so sticky and he just simply rolled it in the turn and some damage mainly to the wing and back end. But Gene is ok he'll be back next weekend and they get Old Timer back on all four wheels and tow it to the garage.

Copperhead Slinger defeats Liberty Girl.

Off the Wall defeats Twisted Obsession.

Bloodlust defeats Bullet Proof.

Now defending Chandler Cup Champion Insanity driven by Michael Elmendorf takes on The Outlaw. Green both of them are off side by side over the bus the bus jump has cause no issue so far except for Bloodlust which lost the hood of his car. Now they approach the turn the Outlaw on the inside is making the turn while Insanity now slows and make the turns but he isnt behind because in the next turn he'll make up the distance since he will be in the inside. Outlaw over the hill great landing and now to Insanity they come to the turn again now Insanity inside but Outlaw will have the speed they are now running to the finish line Outlaw is catching up this could be close over the cars Insanity wins! Insanity has advance to round two of this group and he continues on his quest to win a second PTC Open.

Heatwave defeats Takin Chances.

Electric Death defeats Mini Bling.

Taurus defeats Radio Active.

An interesting first round of the PTC Open for this first group of 16. Gene in Old Timer rolls over and this could be an issue all night the turns. The sharp turns demand lot of skills. So we may see more roll overs. Also the landing from the bus jump. Shawn Hunsicker in Bloodlust has been working on getting Bloodlust ready the word from the garage area is the team and Shawn has just been working since pulling in the pits. Insanity the defending Chandler Cup champion looks good so far but the quickest time in that round came from Russ Ivy in Liberty One. Now we get ready for round one of group B.

Well Round One of the PTC Open is done and before we start to discuss about round one lets go trackside for a special presentation.

Ladies and Gentleman before we start round two of the PTC Open we have a special presentation tonight. Tonight we have four special guest with us that will be honored tonight. Please welcome these four drivers and let me introduce you to the first driver.

He went on to win the first PTC event which was held in Fairbanks, Alaska and even though it wasn't called the PTC Open, it open up the new era of monster truck racing. Please welcome former driver of Skatewagon, with three career wins in PTC here is Ty Barton.

Ty Barton is on the back of the pick up truck being driven from the garage area to the race track start finish line and he is waving at the crowd. Now back to trackside.

Next up, he made history by being the first rookie to win in PTC, and the first to win in their first PTC event. He won the first PTC Open, he has won a race every season since season two and he is the defending Pro Truck Challenge National Champion here is Michael Elmendorf!

Next, he to repeated Michael Elmendorf by winning his first PTC event in his first PTC start. He was a rookie, won more races and this season returns in a brand new truck. Ladies and gentleman please welcome Ethan LeGeyt.

Finally this driver became the first non rookie to win the PTC Open and the first one to not win from the overall pole. He went on to win the points for two weeks, he was the first PTC Open winner to earn points, and now he returns to win number two. Please welcome winner of last season PTC Open, Glen Milburn.

Ladies and gentleman, the winners of the first four season opening events and tonight we will welcome a fifth member.

The fans stand and clap and show their respect for the drivers. All of them except Ty are active in PTC. Now lets take a look at what to expect for round two.

Now we continue round one with group B first round action and pole winner for this group is Natural High driven by Patrick Carroll and he faces Mario in Grave Digger, a big heads up last year Mario defeated the overall pole winner of the PTC Open, Patrick and his team knew Digger wasn't to be taken lightly and they been working on making that setup good green there off!

Side by side they jump over the bus no weakenss being shown by any one of them. Now they come to the turn both of them looks like no issue Natural High is out of the turn and heading towards the hill Digger now out of the turn he storms to the hill he will have the inside edge as he comes to the turn and Digger up on two wheels trying to saves it he crosses into Natural High lane and he saves it! Digger saves it but lost the race as he crossed into Natural High lane! Digger, Mario came in the turn a bit too quick the left wheels come up on the air and Mario stomps the gas and turn towards the right and in the process comes into Natural High lane. Natural High now on the outside lane was just coming out of the turn when Digger had his issues.

Red Foot III defeats HammerFall.

Next race should be a good one, Emaxx against Thunder Beast. Glen in Emaxx for a third season looking to possibly repeat as PTC Open winner. Last season only Emaxx was on top of the points until Insanity. The season with the fewest point lead changes. He faces Auz Grams in Thunder Beast tonight, Auz and Dallas Rogers will split driving duties on the Thunder Beast ford the two trucks are ready green! There off Emaxx with a bit of a jump over Beast now over the bus both of them Emaxx a bit of a bounce the front wheels comes up he gets the wheels back on ground and continues but Thunder Beast near even with him now the turn Thunder Beast outside Emaxx inside for this halff so Emaxx will be the first over the hill but then he'll be on the outside now over the hill goes Emaxx and here comes Thunder Beast and now Thunder Beast will be out of the final turn first but Emaxx will have more speed here they come now Emaxx closing on Thunder Beast over the cars Emaxx way in the air but no Thunder Beast knocks off Emaxx! Thunder Beast advances to round two of the PTC Open and Glen is done for the night.

Colby #28 defeats Chevy Thunder.

Son of Sam defeats Sarge.

Skull Crusher defeats Rat Patrol.

American Guardian defeats Super Trooper

Fire Fighter defeats Loaded Dice.

Well now group B is done and group C is next and the sun will start setting soon. Of course long night for the teams which it is a break cause now they have more time to get ready for the next round. Before we get to the next race here is the PTC Triva Question. Ellis Racing which owns Son of Sam is one of the owners that have been in PTC since the first race, but Son of Sam was ready for the second season. What was the name of the Ellis Racing truck and who was the driver in season one? The answer will be revealed before group C final round.

Well now here comes the first two for the final group. Blue Thunder this truck has a history of winning with Jordon Robson behind the wheel, but now with Jessup Pelkey behind the wheel and he takes on Dirt. Green is out Blue Thunder good size jump on Dirt and now Jessup in flying down towards the turn and the ford powerd pickup is now making the turn and now Dirt is coming to the turn but this looks like it's all Jessup. He is now over the hill he comes to the turn and unless a beak in the truck occurs but looking strong and coming to the finish line Jessup in Blue Thunder will take the win and moves to round two.

Now a new truck. Colby Marshall second truck sponsor by The Monster Blog.com driven by Jon Kowalski whom has been in PTC since season two and still looking for his first career PTC takes on High Anxiety the Rod Litzau award winner from last season green is out and there off both of them even off the line. They come to the bus both of them big air and now both great landing now the turn High Anxiety outside TMB.com inside so Jon making the turn right now Kyle now approaching the turn and making it now TMB.com is coming to and going over the hill but here comes High Anxiety with the momentum and speed over the hill now coming to the turn he will be in the outside now both trucks come to their turn same time and High Anxiety is on his side! Kyle Fisher rolled his truck coming into the turn and just did it too fast and the top heavy of these trucks will roll and we see Kyle out of the truck as PTC officials run towards him to check that he is ok. Tough break for Kyle but TMB.com will advance to round two.

Krypt Keeper defeats TNT.

Sonic defeats Cold Fusion.

Hitman defeats Baracuda.

Monster Mayhem defeats GM Performance Parts.

Now this is the one team everybody been wanting to see. Jordon Robson one of the favorites for the championship now with Pman-7 in team Pman taking on teammate Daniel Clark in High Tech Redneck green is out! Both of them side by side heading towards the bus jump. Both of them great leaps now the hill Pman-7 inside High Tech outside and now Pman is over the hill. Now here comes High Tech over the hill the final turn Pman-7 coming to the turn and so to now is High Tech here they come to the finish line Pman-7 with momentum catching up and High Tech wins a close one!

Blitz defeats Bloodlust Tank.

End of Round 1.

We now get ready for round two of the PTC Open. But before we do lets remember the first half of the first season of Pro Truck Challenge National championship series.

The first Pro Truck Challenge event was at Fairbanks, Alaska at the Carlson Center. A simple track design, the start line was follwed by a hill and a set of cars just like the layout TNT Motorsports made famous in the 80s. Only 14 trucks were registered with PTC so far that season and one of the first starts to emerge was Skatewagon driven by Ty Barton part of Barton Bad Boys Racing. He went on to win the first ever event in Fairbanks. He then went on to win the next weekend at Monroe, Washington and be the first to win two in a row. Already talk about him winning the championship was in the air, but the next weekend was the shake up.

Bakerfield, California was an unusual weekend. PTC along with the local racing in Bakerfield made a deal for the event but that meant no time trials and the field will be lined up by points. So it was the third pole in a row for Skatewagon but the big upset came in round two. The past two weekends the first round fastest loser advance to round two and both times it went to Matt Grossman in Flyin Iowan. However each weekend in the second round he lost to Skatewagon. Sitting eight in points with zero round wins he won his first round race and went to round two to face Skatewagon. Then in what many would now call the first major upset in PTC history Matt Grossman beat the unbeaten Skatewagon and then went on to win his first career PTC event win! Skatewagon still went on to hold the points lead but the next two events were Phoenix International Speedway and Dallas Stadium which we will discuss next time.

Round 2. PTC Open.

Liberty One now faces Copperhead Slinger green is out they are off Russ Ivy with a lead as they come over the bus jump and trouble for Copperhead Slinger he nosed dive the landing and blew the driver side tire he is coming to a stop now as Russ Ivy is still racing hard probably unaware of what happen but now he start to slow he probably realize Copperhead Slinger is having issues and he now drivers the rest of the course to an easy win and tough break from Copperhead Slinger blowing out a tire.

Off The Wall defeats Bloodlust.

Now Heatwave takes on Insanity. Green there off and Heatwave with a small lead on Insanity as they come to the bus jump and still Heatwave now with a bit of a bigger lead and he makes the turn in the turn being on the inside and Insanity on the outside here comes Heatwave to the massive hill and hear come Insanity full steam and he leaps over the second half of the hill and has cut the distance between him and Heatwave now the last turn Insanity leads but Heatwave from the outside more speed he comes up and Heatwave mid air pass Insanity and advances to round two of the PTC Open!

Electric death defeats Taurus.

Well group one is now done and the final our in Group one will be Liberty One against Off The Wall, and Heatwave against Electric Death. Now we get ready for the second round of Group B but before lets revisit season one and the first event at Phoenix International Raceway.

Phoenix International Raceway for a long time was an indy car tradition but it went away after the IRL CART split and only NASCAR events and local events came here but never monster trucks. The long front straight away provides great drag racing for the monster trucks and top speeds seen no where else in the PTC season. Since season one it has been the only venue to return every season. In season one Skatewagon took the pole again making it four poles in a row and it was a surprise upset as he went out in the second round to Disturbing the Peace driven by Phil Bellavia and in the final round it was Bigfoot against Disturbing the Peace and Disturbing the Peace which later became known as D.T.P won the first event in Phoenix International Raceway.

CLICK ON PIC TO SEE FULL SIZE.

Now for the second round for the next group. Natural High to take on Red Foot. Green is out and they are off Natural High with a lead over Red Foot as they are now over the jump and now coming to the turn Natural High inside Red Foot outside Natural high coming to the hill and is over and here comes Red Foot big leap as he now lands and comes to the turn he is now on the inside quick fast turn now Natural High out of the turn he has the speed but Red Foot still ahead Natural High closing the gap over the cars the finish and Red Foot has won! Red Foot has won and upset Natural High. What an upset Natural High the pole winner for this group out in round two.Red Foot advances.

Thunder Beast defeats Colby 28.

Skull Crusher defeats Son of Sam.

Fire Fighter defeats American Guardian.

the final four for this group will feature Red Foot against Thunder Beat and Skull Crusher against Fire Fighter. Looking back at the top stories coming in to today, Insanity is out ater two round of racing. So far out of the eight trucks going into the final four in the two groups so far only one from Misfit Motors and two from Pman. No repeat PTC Open winner with all past winners out. So far looks like Thunder Beast and Red Foot has put down the fastest times but they are both in the same group and face in the next round. Now lets get ready for the third and final group second round of racing.

Blue Thunder defeats TMB.com truck.

Sonic defeats Krypt Keeper.

Hitman defeats Monster Mayhem.

High Tech defeats Blitz.

Well the sun now begins to set here and we get ready for the final four for all the groups.

End of Round 2.

One thing Pro Truck Challenge prides itself on is the great record keeping it has. Check out the record page to see who won each event in PTC and the list of monst wins all time, Chandler Cup winners, and more. Also visit the PTC store to buy PTC shirts, hoodies, and more.

Final Four. PTC Open.

Liberty One driven by Russ Ivy against Off The Wall green is out they are off Ryan Roberts with the jump though and something is wrong with Liberty One after the start he has slowed something is broke and he comes to a stop right beofre the bus jump and Ryan Roberts in Off The Wall is going to have an easy win.

Electric Death against Heatwave winner goes to the final and faces Off The Wall green both of them even full throttle they come to the bus jump neither one lifting off the gas over the bus both land both even Electric Death is poping a wheelie and in not letting off the gas! Heatwave slows to make his turn and now Electric Death finally slows to make the turn and the front wheels come back down and the fans here are going crazy as both drivers push it too the limit! Now over the hill Electric Death sails over and Heatwave is approaching his turn but Electric Death inside is at the turn but coming out Heatwave will have the speed Heatwave is heading to the line now Electric Death this is going to be close at the line...Heatwave advances by .043 of a second the closest finish in a race so far in PTC and the fans are going nuts, and we still have more trucks to come as we now get ready for the next group of four.

We are now awating for the next group of four to come and before we get to the racing action let us remind everyone that PTC the leading name in monster truck racing will be celebrating the fifth season in each and every event every weekend. Now to the final four of group B.

Red Foot III defeats Thunder Beast.

Skull Crusher defeats Fire Fighter

Red Foot against Skull Crusher in the final round of group B and Off The Wall against Heatwave in the final for group A now let see who goes to the finals of group C.

Blue Thunder defeats Sonic.

Hitman defeats High Tech Redneck

End of final four round.

Well we are now down to the final round of each group and then it will be the three way final and the winner will leave tonight with 15 points and everyone else with zero. Also remember the group will stay the same next week but whichever group the winner came out of will race with 2 additional points per position, 2nd one point, and 3rd the standard amount of points. Next weekend 3 races, 3 venues, 1 night PTC National Championship Series presented by MTC.com continues with week 2!

Also time to answer the trivia question from before. Season one, who drove the Ellis Racing team truck and what was the name of the truck. Well it was Jeremy Ellis that was driver and the name of the truck, Ellis Racing, the team name and the next season they brought Son of Sam and made a deal with Juan Perez and a season later went on to win the championship.

Group Finals. PTC Open.

Heatwave is lined up having a great night so far and I can tell you for David Kranak nothing can be better than winning the PTC Open in his new truck built to run in PTC. But he facees Ryan Roberts most career wins along with Jordon Robson and Ryan would love to break the tie and win PTC Open. He has won the Championship Showdown now can he win the Open green! They are off both of them great starts they come to the jump and as they clear the bus jump flashes from all the cameras goes off this is for the making it to the final round! Now the turn Heatwaving turning now and Off The Wall coming to his turn now they come to the hill Off The Wall catching up with more speed now they both enter there turn same time this will be close both exit same time looks like Off The Wall will win if he can hold off Heatwave and yes he does Off The Wall takes the win and moves to the final round of PTC Open!

Now Red Foot III a surprise in a way but not really. Last season in the PTC Open he made it this far but was defeated by rookie Nitro Power. Now looking to avenge the lost he faces Skull Crusher and Dave Collard looking great for Misfit Motorsports. We have a Pman in the final now can Misfit join in the final green! Red Foot great jump that has been one of his better starts he puts Skull Crusher under pressure since Red Foot on the inside now they come to the turn Red Foot quick turn he's been good all night now Crusher turns and approach the hill and Foot over the hill he isn't holding anything back he is going all out now he comes to the turn now Crusher comes to the turn Crusher roll! Skull Crusher made the turn too fast dug the right side tires in the dirt and is on the roof! This means Red Foot III advances to the finals.

Now Blue Thunder the powerful truck with a new driver takes on Hitman the Ford driven by Billy Baxter green! Both trucks are off Baxter with the lead but he is on the outside so as they come to the turn it will be Blue Thunder with the lead now as they make the turn but now as they approach the hill its Hitman on the inside and he is at the turn and Blue Thunder coming to the turn Hitman has a lead no issue he wins and yes Hitman advances to the final round of the PTC Open. This means Hitman who got 2nd in time trials will watch as Red Foot 8th in time trials and Off The Wall 4th race each other first and then winner faces Hitman. Then loser face loser of Off The Wall against Red Foot and so on in this double elimination event.

End of Group Final.

Now a flash back to season one. This time Dallas Stadium home of the Dallas Cowboys. Skatewagon took the pole and lot of people were curious to see what would happen and Skatewagon proved he was still going for the cup. He dominated the field and won and held the points lead for another weekend. Next weekend we will review the second half of season one which will lead up to the new points leader, first time winners, and the first Championship Showdown which was held at New York Yankee Stadium.

PTC Open Finals.

Well looking back at the story lines. We have a Pman, Misfit, and an independantly own team in the finals. We now get ready for the first race and that is Mark Fontanetta in Red Foot III against Ryan Roberts in Off The Wall.

Green both of them are off side by side its Wall inside Red Foot III outside they are over the bus now they come to the turn and its Off The Wall first to the turn but here comes Red Foot III he has be the one to gain the most distance in the hill and he does again flying and now he is at the turn and so is Red Foot they come to the line it will be Red Foot III taking the win and now its Red Foot III to take on Hitman.

Baxter in Hitman awaits for Red Foot III to get to the line and stage up. Now Red Foot is lined up they two of them ready to run Both of them 2 wins away from taking the trophy green! Red Foot on the outside again is even with Hitman this is going to be good both of them are full throttle over the bus no issues with the landing now the hill and Hitman up on two wheels but he keeps going as the truck sets itself down now Red Foot over the hill and gaining again now he is on the inside turn Hitman out of the turn now Red Foot out of the turn Here comes Hitman both of them to the cars Red Foot now Hitman at the line Red Foot barely! Red Foot wins and now he is one win away from the PTC Open he will face the winner of Hitman vs Off The Wall a Pman vs Misfit showdown.

Now its Hitman against Off The Wall the two are lined up the winner faces Red Foot III and Red Foot for the first time tonight will have lane choice so this is big for Mark now the question who will face mark green! There off side by side Hitman and Off The Wall are over the bus jump both of them now they are running towards the turn Hitman outside Wall inside and now Hitman is catching up and will have the inside turn Off The Wall entering the turn and now out so to now is Hitman to the line Off The Wall even with Hitman the jump Hitman mid air pass and he now heads and wins! Hitman got a great jump Off The Wall went too high and not enough forward progress so Hitman now heads towards the start line where Red Foot is there waiting. Red Foot vs Hitman for the PTC Open!

How important is lane choice, Red Foot III took the lane Hitman has been in all night and now Hitman will be in a lane he hasn't run since practice yesterday. Hitman to win the PTC Open must defeat Red Foot two times and Red Foot just needs to win this one heat to be the PTC Open winner.

One trying to win the PTC Open, one trying to force another run who will it be Hitman, Red Foot three green it out! There side by side no one got a good jump they race to the bus jump both of them no holding back leap over the buses the fans are standing and cheering as they both come to the turn Red Foot outside Hitman inside now Hitman out of the turn and so to is Red Foot he is strong here he comes to the hill Hitman over the hill now Red Foot over the hill and to the turn now Hitman exiting the turn and so to now is Red Foot but can Hitman catch up he is catching up he is both of them coming to the cars and to the finish this will be close like it has all night and Red Foot III! Red Foot III is being shown the winner and the fans here are going crazy Red Foot has won the Pro Truck Challenge Open! What a race both went all out and neither one gave up and at the end, 47 trucks later, one stand as winner and that is Mark Fontanetta in Red Foot III the winner of the Pro Truck Challenge Open and what a victory as he does a victory doughnut the crowd is going crazy.

Here is the finish line picture.

You can see Red Foot has a small edge on Hitman. Hitman nose dived the landing and the front of the truck poped back up and he saved it and give that team credit they made it close.
