PRO TRUCK CHALLENGE WEEKEND 3.Cowboys Stadium. ARLINGTON, TEXAS.Tonight, 16 trucks will face one of the most challenging course PTC has ever design and tonight starts off registering for non PTC racers for the PTC truck fest challenge! So welcome to the first night of Pro truck Challenge National Championship Series. The track tonight is one the most unique tracks PTC has ever created. Trucks will line up at the green starting lines, where they will drag race on flat surface reaching high speeds, until they head into the first turn, cutting it very tight. then, the trucks in the blue lane will jump over the trucks in the red lane where the tracks meet in the middle. They head into the second turn, and then jump 4 School Buses! after landing, they will execute a third turn, crossing into the other persons lane. when they meet in the middle for the second time, the trucks will be switched, followed by a fourth and final turn, they will hit the buses for a second time, and drag race to the finish line, the white border at the end of the track. We're sure to see some great races tonight, but before we get into the brackets there's a few interesting things coming out of Qualifying. Defending PTC champion Chris Biluk gets 16th in Time Trials, already in 31st overall, this is not where Chris wants to be. Equally as shocking is todays Pole position, Kirk Johnston and Hi Tec Redneck! Kirk seems to fit this truck like a glove, He's currently 16th overall, a win in Texas could bump him up quite a bit, possibly even the top ten! Now, lets take a look at tonights line up! Well, from hearing those two times you could have guessed that round 1 will feature Hi Tec Redneck and Kirk Johnston against Chris Biluk in Bigfoot. Then, Brandon Barnes in Monster Assault will go up against Team Pmans Off The Wall, both looking to add some points this weekend! Monster Truck Database with Jessup Pelkey will face Krypt Keeper in the first round, no love lost here between Pman and Misfit. Then BFR's Sarge and Cody Boyce will take on Bryan Muir's Love Bug, followed by Misfit Motorsports Matt Grossman in Takin Chances taking on TNT. Third in overall standings Tygo Degen in Fire Fighter will work hard to defend his place tonight against Patrick Carroll's Avalanch Warning in another Misfit Pman matchup. The Old School Thunder Beast will take on Radio Active, with Mr. Consistency RobbieMilburn. the final match of the night will be another Pman Misfit race, with Robbie Carroll's Mini Bling facing Madrat in Rat Patrol. Alot of bad blood here tonight with Team Pman and Misfit Motorsports, you can be sure the trucks will be going all out here tonight, in Texas! Round 1, Arlington, Texas.Pulling to the green line its first and last place qualifiers, Hi Tec Redneck and Bigfoot! A win against the defending PTC Champion would certainly help the field understand why a rookie is in 16th! Green is out and both trucks leave the line hard, both are big Ford powerplants. as they drag race down the flat strip, no clear advantage is given. Winding down they hit the first sharp turn, coming out Hi Tech has the advantage! On the throttle hard Kirk is on the bottom and gets a clear drag while Chris Biluk airs it out over the huge ramp! now with a clear truck length lead, High Tec comes to the bus stack for the first time, skying it out putting the pressure on Bigfoot as they come to the third turn! Biluk trying to catch up on the straightaway as HTR soars over the jump, into the final turn now it becomes clear that we're gonna see fast qualifier Kirk Johnston in round 2! Team Pman's Ryan Roberts pulls the Off The Wall machine to the line, Roberts has been having a bad season so far, he'll take on Brandon Barnes in Monster Assault. Green is out and Monster Assault gets the jump! Both trucks leave the line hard but something is drastically wrong with Off The Wall! Roberts slowing down heavily but still moving, it becomes aparent that Monster Assault will take the win here, but Off The Wall will finish the race and get the much needed points. Monster Truck Database defeats Krypt Keeper The Love Bug defeats Sarge Pulling to the line is Matt Grossman representing Misfit Motorsports in the classic Takin Chances. He'll take on Prochera Motorsports TNT, with Zach Prochera behind the wheel. Green is out and Grossman drills him off the line! Takin chances with a truck length lead now down the straightaway, he looks fast tonight! Activating the rear steer he goes into the first turn, perfectly! gearing up for the Jump Grossman Iron Walls it, not letting up one bit as he soars over the Jump, TNT going under him well after Grossman is in the second turn. Takin Chances hits the Buses soaring over them and landing nose down, but look at TNT! he clips the last bus and nose dives hard, but gets it back under control. now they will switch lanes, but TNT doesnt seem to have what it takes, as Takin Chances takes the win. Matt has put down a blistering time, and is the fastest time of the night! Fire Fighter defeats Avalanche Warning Fire Fighter defeats Avalanch Warning The final race of round one is a big one, its Pman vs Misfit as Rat Patrol takes on Mini Bling! Green and both trucks leave the line hard! Rat Patrol has an all new setup this weekend and it seems to be treating him well as they are even going into the first turn! The power these two monsters put out is deafening as they come to the intersection, and for the first time tonight, Rat Patrol leaps directly over Mini Bling, now into the second turn its Madrat with a slight lead! they sling the trucks around and head for the buses, soaring over its to close to call! They switch lanes and head into the third turn, Rat Patrol drops the hammer and nails the throttle down the straightaway while Mini Bling hits the jump with all he's got! these two are even coming to the last turn, they hit the buses and drag to the finish.... Rat Patrol! Madrat and Rat Patrol pull off what has got to be called an upset, and move into round 2. Round 2, Arlington, Texas.High Tech Redneck, 16th in points wants nothing more than to put Monster Assault away, and make it into the final four. He'll have his chance now, as the lights turn green and the trucks launch from the starting line! Kirk is not messing around tonight, the big Trans Am has the lead off the line. Going into the first turn now, both trucks about even. Hi Tech has the jump the first lap, Monster Assault takes advantage of the straight away and uses all his power to catch up to HTR. But Kirk wont lay down, and into the second turn HTR takes it perfect, cutting valuable time off, and gaining the lead! They come to the buses and both trucks launch over, HTR still with a slight lead as they come into the third turn and switch lanes. Now Kirk shows the Big Ford Pman motor has what it takes, screaming down the straightaway while Monster Assault hits the jump! into the fourth and final turn now, Monster Assault will have to fight for it but its all over! High Tech Redneck is in the Final Four! Monster Truck Database pulls to the line, Jessup Pelkey in the heavily built Pman truck, he took out Krypt Keeper in round one and now he's drawn The Love Bug. Green is out and MTD gets a huge jump off the line, Muir is sleeping at the light! Down the straightaway the big Ford Raptor is pouring on the power now with a truck and half lead! Jessup heads into the first turn and is just on rails tonight, he approaches the Jump as Bryan exits the first turn, Jessup refuses to pedal and gets huge air! Jessup slams back to the ground but oh no! He just obliterated the front axel! MTD has been shut down by PTC officials and the win is awarded to The Love Bug! What a tough break for Jessup, this looked to be his night. The fast time of the night belongs currently to Matt Grossman with Takin Chances, and he'll take on third in points Tygo Degen in Fire Fighter. Tygo almost won it all back in season 5, and he wants it now in season 7! They are off and even! Both trucks roar down the straight away, two awesome classic bodies, one Ford, the other Chevy. Going into the first Takin Chances flat tracks beautifully and Tygo is up on two wheels! He activates the rear steer trying to save it, hard on the throttle but as he nears the barriers he lets off the throttle and lets Fire Fighter come to a rest on its side. What a tough break for Tygo, as Takin Chances moves into the Final Four! Rat Patrol defeats Thunder Beast Well after the final four round there will be info on registering for the PTC Truck Fest! Truck Fest is the All Star Event of PTC and every year, PTC allows teams with no wins and championships a chance to get in the All Star Event. That event is the Truck Fest Challenge because for the first time ever. PTC will allow all teams that are not register in PTC to take part and try to get in the Truck Fest Event. Can you imagine a local monster truck team, with a chance to race the best PTC racers in the world? So after the next round the info will be up. Final Four, Arlington, Texas.High Tech Redneck comes to the line for the third time tonight, The Ford powered Trans Am wants to be in the final round. But to get there, he'll have to go through Bryan Muir, who made it here on pure chance. Green is out and Kirk schools Bryan off the line! going down the straight away now its all HTR in this one! Approaching the first turn High Tech flat tracks around and has the straightaway. Muir takes the jump at a good speed but Kirk is fading into the distance now, coming out of the second turn and approaching the buses! down the straightaway both trucks are on it hard as they enter the third turn and switch lanes. The Love Bug gets the straightaway this time around, and drops the hammer with the big Hemi motor, Kirk is flying and hits the jump full speed, clearing the gap and jump completly! HTR flying through the final turn, over the buses and down the straight away Kirk takes the win! Kirk has put The Love Bug on the trailer, and sets the fastest time of the night! Now, the deciding factor in who will face High Tech Redneck in the final round. Will it be Matt Grossman in Takin Chances for a Misfit Pman final? Or will Madrat in the rebuilt Rat Patrol get his shot in a Pman vs Pman Final? Both trucks staged now, and the green light is out! These trucks are leaving the line harder then they have all night, screaming down the straightaway, into the first turn dead even! coming out Rat Patrol will have the straight away, dropping the hammer, the Ford motor seems healthy tonight! Takin Chances on the other side hits the jump and lands perfectly on the other side, gaining some well needed ground! coming into the second turn Rat Patrol has the lead coming to the buses, both drivers on it hard down the straight away and into the third turn as they switch lanes. Takin Chances now has the straight away, the Merlin motor is roaring as Rat Patrol comes to the jump, police lights flashing, he comes down great, and it is dead even coming into the fourth and final turn! Both trucks clear the Buses and drag to the finish line... Takin Chances! Matt Grossman wins a hard battle here tonight, and will end up in the final round. However, he failed to beat High Tech Redneck's time, so Kirk will have lane choice here tonight. Well to register for the PTC Truck Fest Challenge. Kirk Johnston in High Tech Redneck, representing Team Pman, he is currently 16th in points and this is his rookie year! A win here tonight would leave him placed very well in the point standings after this weekend. He has begun staging and has chosen the Red lane, which means he will have the jump on his second lap. In the Blue Lane, representing Misfit Motorsports for the 5th season, this is his 7th season in the PTC, Matt Grossman in Takin Chances, currently 29th in points, really needs these points to move up the leaderboard. Both trucks are staged, and its Green! Both trucks picking the front ends off the ground from the start, these two power houses won't give each other an inch. They both take the first turn perfect, Hi Tech Redneck hits the throttle hard on the straightaway, on the other side Takin Chances prepares for the jump and hits it hard, coming down on the other side, they go into the second turn still even! Coming to bus jump they hit it hard, landing further and faster than they have all night! coming to the Third turn, they switch lanes, Takin Chances now drops the thottle on the straight away he's got the lead! HTR fumbles up in the turn! Kirk is gonna have to drive better than perfect to win this tonight! Hitting the jump as full throttle he clears the jump by 20 feet at least! coming into the fourth turn takin chances with a slight lead, HTR not to far behind, coming to the bus stack Kirk is full throttle and passes Takin Chances in the air! Now the drag race to the finish line, its close but its High Tech Redneck! Kirk Johnston has won it all here tonight, bringing home another win for Team Pman. High Tech Redneck won it all from the pole defeating Takin' Chances in the final round. Tonight Skull Crusher has the pole and will take on Son of Sam in the first round. Ellis Racing struggling so far this season with the new truck. Dirt took second in time trials and will have to Super Trooper. Lot of big names in tonight field as we get ready for the second night of racing on this tough track. This is Saturday Night PTC Racing from Cowboy's Stadium! Welcome to Dallas! Cowboy's Stadium home of the third weekend of Pro Truck Challenge National Championship Series! Tonight 16 trucks will again tackle the track known as the single lane figure eight! Last night High Tech Redneck won it all from the pole and survive a night of racing. Tonight these 16 will tackle the course and lot of them watched yesterday event. So we may see quicker times and the drivers in Sunday's race are watching tonights race to learn more about this course. Lets get a quick pit report! Last night the racing was close and tonight it could be very close or very crazy. Historically when PTC brings a track like this that hasn't been run before the second night drivers tend to be more daring and this results in faster times and more accidents. So PTC at the drivers meeting tonight made it clear on safety messures steps in the case a truck rolls over tonight and more. PTC officials will have a close eye tonight on the field. Now back to the action. On pole for tonight event is Skull Crusher! Skull Crusher will take on Ellis' Racing Son of Sam team and Son of Sam is going to try to make a big upset. The fans have sold out this venue for all three nights, they are loud again and ready for some monster truck racing so let go racing! Round 1, Arlington, Texas.Skull Crusher lining up, taking on Son of Sam struggling so far this season. Seems that truck hasn't been 100% since the Phoenix race against Ed in the Orange Dodge! Green is out both trucks are off they look even racing down to the corner as Skull Crusher in the blue lane will go under Son of Sam in the red lane. The two trucks are lined up green! Both of them blast off the starting line all the fans here are stadning the first run of the night is underway!Both of them make the sharp hairpin turn and here they come over the center the flash bulbs goes off as Son of Sam jumps over Skull Crusher! Now they get ready to jump the buses this will see who gets the advantage The two come out of the corner even to the bus jump it is still even but trouble! Son of Sam major smoke coming out of the engine the race comes to a stop as fire crew run toward Son of Sam more bad luck! We see Jeremy out of the truck quickly and fire crews going to the truck and the flames just the engine looks like that might be a total lost as the fire crew now put out the flames. Skull Crusher will take the win and move to round two but this fire will delay the racing for a little while as PTC and MTRA offcicals look into the cause of the fire. Well the fire crews have gotten the fire out and the slow tow of Son of Sam starts, we've been delay for 10mins so far, thankfully Jeremy is ok and we will keep you posted on more on the cause of the fire. Now as the truck is placed in the pits we hear the next two trucks fire up and the fans get ready for the next race between Yuenglind Lager and Panco Crusher.These two trucks got eight and ninth in time trials, winner advances to take on Skull Crusher green! Both trucks are off we got Panco Crusher with a jump down the drag now they enter the first turn and Lager got to play catch up and Panco rolls! Panco Crusher rolls it! Panco Crusher rolls and again another red situation as the race comes to a stop. Josh climbs out quickly and he is angry. Just rolled over and wanted a good run. Josh simply enter the corner too hard and rolled it. Just pushing it too hard and well it cost him. The truck is right sided up and not lot of Damage so Josh will climb back in and drive it to the pit, fix it up for next weekend. Monster Mayhem is taking on Pman 8 and an update on the fire from Son of Sam. Word is a lose fuel line is being looked at as the source of the fire after the bus jump. More to come but green is out and lets get to the race as the two trucks enter the turn even both of them make it and now Pman 8 jumps over Mayhem and Pman 8 bit of a rough landing he slows to make the turn and now it is Mayhem with a lead as he leaps over the buses and now Pman gets over the buses! Now Mayhem on the red lane jumps over the blue lane and now Pman 8 on the blue lane makes it through. Mayhem jumps the buses and makes it to the finish line and will advance to round two. Next up two big names. Snake Bite taking on Grave Digger. Both of them trying to turn there season around the time is now! Both of them off Digger leads coming into the turn and a great turn! He grows the lead as he goes over the red lane and Snake Bite and comes to the next corner he slows it perfect and is over the buses Snake bite now approaching the buses and but Digger showing no mercy. Mario is going to advance unless some error occurs but error proof is his run and Grave Digger in round two and he puts down the quick time of the night so far. However remember this is only the second run to finish. Electric Death last weekend winner taking on Bloodlust. Sixth in time trials takes on 11th. Green and Electric Death big jump on Bloodlust he enters the turn and now Bloodlust enters the turn and races towards the center of the track. Now we see Death is over the buses and running towards the center one corner to go he is in he is fast over the buses and to the line Electric Death another quick time! Electric Death looks good maybe two in a row? Mountain Dew taking on Insanity. The rookie took third in time trials and what a statement if he takes down Insanity. Green both of them are off Insanity keeping up with Mountain Dew in the drag now the corner and Mountain Dew small lead he jumps over Insanity and enter the second corner and we see Insanity keeping up after a poor time trial run but now over the buses and Insanity not a great landing at all! He lost some time against Mountain Dew. Mountain Dew over the center last corner and over the buses and to the line Mountain Dew defeats Insanity! Cold Fusion takes on Miss Bigfoot. This is a Pman vs CRB/Bigfoot race. For bragging rights green! Both trucks off this is going to be good two great truck running towards the corner and both of them great turns they are even and Bigfoot over Cold Fusion now the turn. To the buses and they are still even. This is going to be a close race! The two now Gusion over Bigfoot in the center last corner this is going to be close over the buses one last time and to the line it will be Cold Fusion in a close one! Cold Fusion takes a close win over Miss Bigfoot. What a race. Dirt, second in time trials taking on Super Trooper 15th. Green both trucks are off Dirt big lead he is taking control of this race. He is in and out of the turn and Super Trooper coming into the turn and Dirt already over the buses he is very fast and Super trooper over the buses an rought landing but he keeps going and now Dirt last corner he is out now the bus jump and straigh ahead to the finish line and Dirt takes the win! What a race for Dirt and Dirt puts down the fastest time of the night! So round one is now done and it started out as a crazy round but has settle down to close racing. This massive stadium is huge compare to Texas Stadium and with the capacity of over 90,000 the attendance tonight and yesterday has been sold out capacity of 101,220 both nights! We still have Sunday night to come as well! Round 2, Arlington, Texas.Skull Crusher defeats Yuelnglind Lager. Monster Mayhem defeats Grave Digger. Electric Death defeats Mountain Dew. Cold Fusion defeats Dirt. Final Four, Arlington, Texas.Skull Crusher advances to the final round after defeating Monster Mayhem. Electric Death advances to the final round after defeating Cold Fusion. He is going for two in a row! Final Round, Arlington, Texas.Well now it is the final round of the night and reminder tomorrow more racing. Green is out Skull Crusher Electric Death! Both of them going for the win they make the turns...both of them even Skull Crusher leaps over Electric Death! Now the turn as they come to the buses here they come to the bus jump both of them even this is going to be close as they swap lanes Electric Death over Skull Crusher and now the final turn! Both of them even who gets on the gas first both of them full throttle over the buses they even to the line still even Electric Death! Electric Death pulls the upset and wins two in a row! He matched Chris the other driver to win their first two PTC events in a row! Wow what a win and we will see you tomorrow. Sunday Night.The last two nights of racing here at Cowboy Stadium have seen alot. Wrecks, surprise winners, and close intense racing. Tonight 16 more trucks will tackle the track. The track has earned a reputation of the testing the best. Tonight a rookie took the pole but it is no ordinary rookie. It is Cat in Blue Thunder II earned the pole! Who will take the win and we will find out now! For a third night in a row cowboy stadium is sold out and we have 16 teams ready to run and ready to win. But the track last night showed that drivers have to be ready for the challenge. This track has seen trucks rolled over on the extremly tight turns and the drivers are saying it is a test for the drivers. It has created close racing as well as we seen race after race finish with close margins of victory. So we are now ready to see the the best in the nation ready to race. On pole for tonight event is Blue Thuder II! Cat is no ordinary rookie because she has run in MTA and has two experience PTC teammates. She takes on Bloodlust Tank in round one and the two are lining up for round one of racing! Round 1, Arlington, Texas.Blue Thunder against bloodlust Tank Green! Both of them are off Cat great start she is just running down to the turn and makes it smoothly as the tank now comes to the corner but Cat is ready to jump the buses she is putting down a quick lap very quick! Bloodlust tank nothing for Blue Thunder II she puts down a quick lap quicker then time trials! Ground Pounder the point leader defeats Chaotic Currior and will meet Cat in round two. Monster Energy Drink takes on Cyclops. Green both of them are off Cyclops with the lead coming to the turn he and Energy look out! Both of them have rolled! This is a strange situtation...both of them enter the first turn so hard and rolled. I cannot recall of this happening in PTC before a first but odd. Both drivers are ok and getting out but I think this sets the record for the most roll overs in a weekend in PTC history. This weekend has been one of those weekends people will be talking about. As we get the trucks right sided up the rule is both trucks are done for the night and the winner of the next run will recieve a by run. So either Old Timer or Sonic will get a by run. Sonic defeats Old Timer and will get a by run in round two. The Unknown sporting a special paint schemee defeats Orange Dodge Special. The Monster Blog.com in a close race defeats Equalizer. The two of them swap the lead but TMB.com just nosed out Equalizer for the win. Copperhead Slinger defeats Hollywood. Cyclone second fastest in time trials defeats Hawg Wild. Round 2, Arlington, Texas.Blue Thunder defeat Ground Pounder the point leader. Sonic advances via by run. The Monster Blog defeats The Uknown. Copperhead Slinger defeats Cylcone. Final Four, Arlington, Texas.Blue Thunder defeats Sonic and advances to the final round. The Monster Blog defeats Copperhead Slinger making it a BMR final round! Final Round, Arlington, Texas.Well it been a rather tamed night of racing compare to the previous two nights. Usually it is Friday night, Saturday more agressive and Sunday more speed. We seen times faster tonight and tonight a teammate final. The rookie Cat taking on Jon. There teammate Ed went out in the first round but this is good for the team overall. Green both trucks are off even it is going to be a close race here they come to the middle Blue Thunder jumping over TMB.com and now they jump over the buses! Both of them lots of air but even still next turn now the final round of racing here they come TMB over Blue Thunder and now the last corner! THERE EVEN! THEY'RE EVEN OVER THE BUSES! BOTH BIG AIR BUT BOTH MAKING A RUN FOR THE LINE! AT THE LINE IT IS...BLUE THUNDER II! Blue Thunder wins a close race and both of them slam on the breaks trying not to make contact with the wall! The fans are going bananas here after a wild fast race between the two teammates! Cat now appears from out of the vehicle and waves to the crowd and she is excited! She won her first PTC event and join Cindy Munds, Tyler Anastasio, and Laura Dusang as girls that have won in PTC. What a weekend and two weekends from now more racing a triple header Saturday!
