TIRES
Here are some tires offer from these companies.
GOODYEAR. Goodyear is one of the most recognized names in motorsports. They have been in all major U.S. series and all around the
world as well. There biggest commitment currently is the role as NASCAR only tire provided. Now Goodyear has expanded to PTC offering
teams this new tire.
This is Goodyear new tire product 001. This tire Goodyear has release is still in testing but the Goodyear team felt confident in
releasing it on the market. This tyre is made with a compound material that offers the tire to be lighter and softer. Lighter as in
allow the vehicle to worry less bout the tires being a factor when meeting PTC minimal weight requirement. Softer as in with a more
flexable tire should result in less flats and improved handling. This tire should be great when it comes to course that are slower
and or invovle turns. However Goodyear is still working and has announced by season 8 an updated version of a tire will be released.
A set of four Goodyears 001 will go for $15,500 and since this is new there are no used units avaliable. For the high price Goodyear
has offer teams that choose there 001 tire a full warrenty for season 1. The season 1 warrenty will cover the tire if it is to fail
during any PTC event with a free replacement. The one downside is if a team decide to go with air pressure that doesn't meet Goodyear's
tech team suggested air pressure and the team will have to cover 50% of a new tire which goes for $4,000. Goodyear is offering four
sets of these tires and have 11 spare tires to distribute for season one. Contact here to buy.
Firestone of course is a popular name in the monster truck buisness. Firestone has supplied the big name in monster trucks and other
motor sports such as the Indy Car Series. Firestone tire is the same as the previous tires 66' and carries the Firestone name.
This season when Goodyear announced there plan to be a tire supplier for PTC teams. Firestone decide to step up as a supplier as well. They offer there current tire for $13,000 a new set. They have some used ones that are going for $9,000 but there is no warrenty
plan with the used tires. The new tires warrenty will cover 65% of replacement fees. Firestone ask that anyone that buys from them
sport a FIRESTONE logo somewhere on the truck or on the top of the windshield. Also if a team running on supplied tires makes it to
the Championship Showdown they will recieve a $5,000 bonus for making it in the showdown, $10,000 if they are condending for the cup,
and $15,000 if they win the Chandler Cup. The team will sport a red firestone flag in the showdown as well.

Cooper tires has pulled a fast one on the tire industry and decided to enter the monster truck industry. Cooper Tires has a long name in tire performance. The Cooper Cobra series are very popular when it comes to dirt series racing. The tire company is known
for good quality tires and a solid name in performance. Now they enter monster truck racing and they see PTC as the starting point.
Pro Truck Challenge the only national championship series in monster truck racing is seeing big growth and lot of interest from companies and Cooper took note.

This is the new Cooper Discover Monster Truck Tire. This tire is the standard
66' and traditional design as monster trucks. What the cooper tire offer though is unique compare to Firestone and Goodyear. Cooper
will lease tires out to teams. These tires may not have fancy technology this season. But for a much cheaper price of $9,000 a season
and a two year contract with a return rate of $5,000 the follwing season. Cooper is a great deal no doubt. For replacements they offer
2 free replacements a season. After a fee is imposed for replacement tires. For teams tight on budget this is no doubt the choice to
go and of course after two season a team can give it back to Cooper. Cooper is offering 3 sets of 4 and hopes to have a new line by
season 8 and used tires by season 9. Contact here to buy.
